Using the AAU Web Site

The AAU has made many enhancements to the AAU web site. The web site makes it easier to access the information when you need it and to organize your club’s paperwork.  Here is a list of a few items that can be completed online. 

Ø      Become a Member 

Join as a Club, Athlete or Non-Athlete (coach, administrator, official, volunteer, etc.).  By joining online, you can instantly print your membership card.  To Join Now, click here.  

Ø      Request a Certificate of Insurance 

Members can request a Generic Insurance Certificate, Third Party Practice Insurance Certificate or Third Party Event Sanction Insurance Certificate online. You must have your club membership code, event sanction number, and your individual membership ID in order to complete the process.  Once your request has been submitted online, your certificates will be available online within 12 to 36 hours after submission.  With your club code you can download a copy any time during the year.   Please note that you will not be mailed a copy of the certificate.  You must print it online. Ø      Apply for a Sanction 

You can apply for an event sanction online.  Please note that event sanctions submitted online are pending approval from the District Registrar.   Once your event sanction is approved, it will be listed under Local Events on the Event Calendar.  Be sure to sanction your event early so that it appears on the Event Calendar! To apply for a sanction, click here.

Ø      Use the AAU Access Login Section 

Club Contacts can access a list of registered members for your club at the AAU ACCESS LOGIN section of the web site.  If you are the club contact, you can login with your club code and membership ID number.  Please note, only members that were registered with your club code will show up on your club listing.  Be sure to use your club code when completing memberships for your athletes and non-athletes.  If you need to add a club code to a membership, contact your local District at 800-AAU-4USA or the National Membership Department at membership@aausports.org. To log in, click here.

Event Directors (who have event sanctions) can also login to verify membership of participants in their event. You have access 3 weeks before the start date of your event and 3 days after the end date of your event. You will need your event sanction number and membership ID to login. To log in, click here.

District Sport Directors can also login to access membership listings for your District and sport.  Contact your District Office for information. To log in, click here.
